Reminder: There will be NO After-School Program tomorrow, Thursday, September 17, or Tuesday, September 22, due to Parent-Teacher Conferences. After-School will resume on Wednesday, September 23.

NO SCHOOL for students on Monday, Sept. 21 due to Professional Development. School will dismiss early on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 2:30pm so teachers can prepare for PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES from 3:00 - 7:00pm.

📣 Junior High Pep Rally Reminder The Junior High Pep Rally is tomorrow, September 17, at 12:46 PM!

JCES Dress Code Reminder: Parents, please help us make sure students are following our school dress code each day. • Leggings should only be worn with a shirt that covers the bottom. • Shorts should be no shorter than mid-thigh. • Shirts should cover the stomach/midriff. Thank you for helping us keep our students dressed appropriately and ready to learn!

There will be no 21st Century afterschool program on Thursday September 17th.

ATLAS Interim testing for 3rd–6th grade begins today and will continue through September 17. Please make sure students arrive on time, well-rested, and ready to do their best!

🩺Message from the School Nurse: Hearing and vision screenings will begin next Wednesday, September 16th. Scoliosis and BMI checks will also be performed at this time for the appropriate grades. If you do not want a scoliosis or BMI screening to be done on your child, please send a written notice to the nurse ASAP. Please contact the nurse with any questions or concerns.

📣 Mini Camp Parents! Here are a few important reminders for our Mini Camp cheerleaders: Pep Rally: Mini Camp participants will perform at the pep rally beginning at 1:50 PM in the New Gym. If you would like to take your child home after the pep rally, you may do so after signing them out with their teacher. Teachers will have sign-out forms with them at the pep rally. Football Game: Mini Camp participants will perform at 6:00 PM. Please have your child at the field by 5:45 PM. The performance will begin promptly at 6:00.

📣 Mini Camp Parents: Please remember that all children must be signed out by a parent or guardian at the conclusion of Mini Camp. Pickup and sign-out will take place at the MPR at 4:30.

💉 Jr. High & High School Parents: Please be on the lookout for immunization letters being sent home with students who are missing or overdue on required immunizations.

There will be no 21st Century afterschool program on Monday September 7th or Thursday September 17th.

School will dismiss early on Friday, September 4! Elementary will dismiss at 2:15pm and the buses will roll from high school at 2:30pm. School will be out Monday, September 7 for Labor Day. We look forward to welcoming students back on September 8.

💉 From the School Nurse: Elementary families, please be on the lookout for letters being sent home with students who are missing or overdue for immunizations.

After School Program Parents: Please note that on Tuesday, September 1, we will not have a bus available to take After School students home. Students will need to be picked up by a parent/guardian that afternoon. If you are unable to arrange transportation home for your child, they will not be able to attend the After School Program that day.

Parents, if your child plans to attend the afterschool program, please make sure their application is turned in by Monday, August 17. The program begins that day and will run from 3:15–5:30 PM. If you need an application, you can stop by the 4–6 Elementary building to pick one up.

📚 Yearbook Pickup Reminder! Ms. Hanry will be at the high school (new building) on Saturday, August 8, from 9:00–11:30 a.m. to distribute preordered 2025–2026 yearbooks. If you can’t make it Saturday, preordered yearbooks will be given to students at school on Friday, August 14.
