The NECC Board Meeting originally scheduled for Dec. 20 has been rescheduled for tonight Dec. 13 at 7pm!


The Senior High Cheerleaders will compete this Friday, December 17 in the 2021 State Cheer Competition at Bank of the Ozarks Arena in Hot Springs! We hope to have lots of Dragon fans there to CHEER them on!

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Seniors Cassidee Franks and Brook Swanner and Junior Kathryn Wood for being selected to participate in the annual Four States Band Clinic and Concert on January 13-15, 2022 at Texarkana! It is quite an honor to be selected and we are so proud of these talented students as they represent the Bordertown!
Over 300 students from high schools in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma will be participating in clinics and rehearsals directed by college band directors. A concert for the public will be presented Saturday January 15th at 2:00 pm in the Performing Arts Center at the Texarkana, Texas High School.

REMINDER! 2021 Christmas Follies will be held tomorrow morning, December 9 at 9am in Dragon Arena! There will be only one show of K-12 students performing! Thanks to the JCHS Student Council for sponsoring this event. Admission is $1 for everyone including performers.

REMINDER!!! ESSAYS ARE DUE MONDAY, DEC. 6TH!
4TH - 6TH GRADE JCES STUDENTS ONLY!!! The Kevin Payne Foundation is sponsoring a JCES Essay Contest for grades 4-6! The prizes will be bicycles or basketball goals, depending on what a student's winning essay is about! The essay must be at least one page typed (double-spaced) but no more than two pages. Each essay must be titled, "Why I Deserve to Win a (Bicycle OR Basketball Goal)" Student must choose and title only one to write about.
•Essay deadline is December 6th!
•Winners will be announced on December 10!
•Students may pick up their prizes on December 17!
•Parents, your child must create and type their own essay!
